Fares:
The Trolley Fare is currently $0.50 (50 cents) when boarding. This fare is discounted from the normal COAST fare, and that discount is sponsored by the City of Portsmouth and the Pease Development Authority.
Half-fare privileges are extended to seniors (65 years and older), disabled
and individuals possessing a valid Medicare Card.
To qualify please show the
trolley operator one of the following upon boarding:
- Photo ID showing proof
of age (for seniors only)
- A valid Medicare card
- COAST ADA Eligibility Card and Photo ID
- COAST Half-fare
Eligibility Pass and Photo ID
The half-fare policy applies to COAST’s Fixed
Route Service during all hours of operation and is not applicable to COAST’s
ADA service or monthly passes.
ADA Paratransit Service
COAST provides paratransit services for persons who
are unable to ride the bus/trolley because of a disability.
