Route 32 Dover South
Dover Community Routes
Serving Dover Point, Dover High School, and the Dover Transportation Center
Serving Dover Point, Dover High School, and the Dover Transportation Center
Schedules read from TOP to BOTTOM.
Please note: Route 32 Dover South has changed due to construction on the Little Bay Bridges, which is expected to continue for the next few years. On the INBOUND route, stops between New Bellamy Lane (just past St. Thomas) and the turnpike overpass (Homestead Lane) will be served on the SOUTHBOUND side ONLY. The bus will then continue to the Boston Harbor Rd, turn at Newick's, and go up Spur Road to New Bellamy Lane. All stops north of St. Thomas will be served as normal.
In the afternoons, the bus route will remain the same except for service to Wentworth Terrace (request only). Finally, the Cricklewood Condominum association requested discontiunation of service, so there will be no service on Clearwater Drive this year.
Don't see your stop listed below? It is IN BETWEEN the scheduled timepoints listed in the table. ALL STOPS are listed above in the "bus stop listing" tab. For example, if your stop is on Dover Point Road between St. Thomas and Homestead Lane, you should be waiting at 6:33 (which you can see below). More help on reading COAST bus schedules.

The afternoon run will become Route 2S from Dover Point Rd, continuing on to the Fox Run Mall and Market Square. As with any COAST route, the run is open to the public, including any students at Dover High School. Students who normally take other buses home from school are permitted to take the 32/2S bus. If traveling beyond Dover, all passengers must pay the appropriate fare for Route 2 when boarding ($1.50).
Parents: COAST is committed to safe transportation. Parents/guardians of Dover High students should be aware that the option to take this bus is available to students and discuss this with their child. Students may never have used public transportation before. Please review the information available on our website, and call us with any questions you may have. We encourage students to call and speak with our dispatcher as well, as they will be on their own on the bus. COAST takes pride in having a safe and friendly environment for all passengers.
Dover High students: Make sure you plan ahead for getting home. The Route 32 (Dover South) bus will become Route 2 to the Mall and Portsmouth. When returning to Dover, you need to take Route 2N. Check the schedule ahead of time so you don't miss your bus. Most importantly, if you don't live within a few minutes walk of the Route 2 line, you should arrange a way to get the rest of the way home once you get to Dover. You might be able to transfer to another bus route if you live near any of those, but most other routes stop running at 7pm. If that doesn't work for you, try arranging for someone to pick you up downtown at the Dover Transportation Center, or uptown at Dover Shaw's. Both locations are well lit and have good places for your ride to wait until the bus arrives.
