44Route 44 - Portsmouth City Hall / Kittery (PNSY Gate 1)
Starting Monday, October 6, 2025 the last run of Route 44 will leave Hanover Station at 7:36pm and the last inbound from Kittery will leave Government St. at 7:45pm.
Additionally, the first inbound from Government St. to Hanover Station will be at 7:45am.
Every hour the Route 44 vehicle will alternative between Route 43 and Route 44. It will run Route 43 from the top of each hour until returning to Hanover at 0:35 after each hour, then will run Route 44 from 0:36 after each hour until the top of each hour.

Schedule Notes:
- The 5:55am Route 44 outbound does not serve Junkins Ave. or City Hall--it runs express to the PNSY Gate 1 stop on Government St. That vehicle then continues North to Dover as Route 13N.
- Regular hourly schedule starts during the hour of 7am.
