Route 1 Detours

REVISED NOTICE 8/27/12: On Tuesday 8/28 route 1 will return to NORMAL SERVICE for all runs.

REVISED NOTICE 8/9/12. Beginning Saturday August 11th, ALL ROUTE 1 SERVICE ON GLENWOOD AVE WILL BE DISCONTINUED. Riders needing the route 1 bus should make their way on the sidewalks to Shaw's before the scheduled departures. Alternatively riders can use the Route 33 bus either by catching it at Sixth and Whittier, or calling COAST for a pickup on Glenwood (additional charges may apply for cash-paying customers).   

The Route 1 bus will instead depart the Dover Transportation Center approximately 4 minutes earlier than normal, and serve the normal route through lower Whittier St. and then detour back through downtown to reach Shaw's.

The Whittier St. Shuttle, being operated by Wildcat Transit on behalf of COAST, will be discontinued after the conclusion of service on Friday evening, August 10th.
