Directions to COAST's Offices
From the north or south, take the Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16) to exit 8W (NH 9/NH 155). From downtown Dover, use Silver Street to NH 155. Continue through the lights onto NH 155 south (Knox Marsh Road). Continue for approximately 1/4 mile, then turn right onto Sumner Drive (located after the Java House, before the Irving gas station).
COAST's administrative office (6 Sumner Dr.) is located on the left hand side, just before Dupont's Service Center. For our operations facility (42 Sumner Dr.), continue around the bend to the end of the road.
Directions by Bus
We do not operate service to our office location, but bus service is available via Wildcat Transit (operated by the University of New Hampshire). Connections to Wildcat Transit can be made at Dover Shaw's or the Dover Transportation Center.
To reach our location from Dover, you will need to board Route 3A (UNH via 155) and depart at the Irving Gas Station bus stop on Route 155. Sumner Drive is located nearby; follow the driving directions to our office locations. To return to downtown Dover, use Route 3B (Shaw's via 155) from the New Meadows Apts. bus stop located across from the Irving station.
To reach our location from the Route 7 service area, connect to Route 5 in Newmarket at the Downtown Gazebo and ride into Durham. On the UNH campus, you will need to transfer to Route 3B (Shaw's via 155) and ride that bus to the New Meadows Apts. bus stop on Route 155. Sumner Drive is located across the street; follow the driving directions to our office locations. To make the reverse trip, use Route 3A (UNH via 155) from the Irving Gas Station bus stop to campus, and transfer to Route 5 on campus to continue on to Newmarket.
All times for Wildcat Transit's service can be found on their website. Please be ready to show your pass or pay a cash fare to board each Wildcat route, as you would to ride with COAST. Wildcat Transit accepts the same fares as COAST, with two exceptions: they do not accept 15-ride punch tickets or Great Bay Community College IDs.
