I can save a lot of money by not having my own car. Commuting in an environmentally friendly way is important to me.
What do you enjoy most about riding COAST?
The stops I use are near my home and my office, so it's almost door-to-door for me. I enjoy being able to relax on my commute.
What are some of your favorite things to do while riding COAST?
Read, talk to regular riders, listen to music, relax.
What advice would you give others about riding COAST?
If you ride more than 3 round-trips a week, the Monthly Pass almost pays for itself. I ride the route 2 and the route 40 to get to and from work. Were I to pay cash, that's $6 a day, $30 a week, or $120 a month. The pass is $52 a month, so it's a no-brainer for commuters who work office hours.
